A stunning voice and a lovely personality to match, Carole takes the lead role in “Voice Of The Heart – Karen Carpenter”. A spectacular theatre production that tours the length and breadth of Great Britain .
Along with her late beloved husband Bob Newman, Carole had the great pleasure of supporting Tammy Wynette on her many sell-out tours in the UK and was proud to represent Great Britain in Nashville USA at The International Fanfare.
TV credits include an invitation from BBC Breakfast Time to chat about the American trip and to sing live on the show, plus a chance to sit on the sofa alongside Frank Bough and Selina Scott. The popular Sing Country show on BBC 2 also saw Carole & Bob singing live at The International Wembley Festival . Little wonder that for 8 years they were voted “Britain’s Most Popular Act” by The British Country Music Association.
Also a popular recording artiste having been featured countless times on Radio 2 with live broadcasts from The Golders Green Hippodrome and having released many studio albums .
Music has taken Carole around the world with invitations to perform in France, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Dubai, Spain and the USA plus constantly touring here in the UK makes for a full and varied diary.
A talented musician Carole is an accomplished pianist and guitarist and is no stranger to the dance floor either ! Always ready for the next challenge wherever it may present itself Carole runs Full House Productions which organizes tours and produces shows for the UK theatres.
