Meet the Treasure Island cast: Julius Brady

Ahead of Treasure Island‘s opening night, we caught up with Julius Brady, who will play Captain Hook and Dame Dotty, about his love for theatre and his excitement ahead of our Easter pantomime adventure.

How long have you been acting for?

“I have been performing since the age of 15 and have been fortunate enough to have covered many genres and platforms from Shakespeare to Brecht, Musicals, Comedy and Pantomime – be it on the stage, film or television.”

Is there a genre you prefer?

“I find myself drawn more to the comedy side of theatre and enjoy seeing and hearing an audience really getting involved and enjoying themselves.”

What do you enjoy beyond theatre?

“Beyond theatre, I sing in a band and also perform as a drag artist called Miss De Meanor. So long as I am performing, I am at my happiest.”

Do you have a message for everyone watching Treasure Island?

“I look forward to seeing everyone this year and making you laugh and boo throughout the show!”
