Haverhill Beer Weekend 2025: The full list of beers
From strong bitters to sweet ales, there’s plenty to taste and enjoy at the 2025 Haverhill Beer Weekend. Ahead of this year’s highly anticipated event, here is the full list* of every beer available to try:
Regional Beers
SUFFOLK
Nethergate
Umbel – Amber Ale (4.1%)
A smooth, silky texture which is followed by a slightly spicy taste and a subtle floral aroma. Rich malt notes give way to hoppy hints of citrus and grapefruit with a big, sharp yeasty aftertaste.
Summer Daze – Golden (3.9 %)
A crisp taste followed by tropical and fruity flavours, with the initial taste featuring a subtle hint of bitterness.
Growling Dog (Tropical) – IPA (7.5%)
Flavours of mango, pineapple and papaya, contrasted by a hoppy, bitter finish.
Craft Lager (Keg) – Lager (4.5%)
Brewed with traditional lager hops of Saaz and Tettnang, and the dry hop addition of the more modern Centennial, to give a refreshing zesty and spicy flavour.
Old Cannon Brewery
Cannon’s Cassock – Gold (4.8%)
A brand new beer being launched exclusively at the Haverhill Beer Weekend.
Perfect Storm – Old Ale (4.6%)
Gunner’s Daughter – ESB (5.5%)
Mauldons
Mole Trap – Best Bitter (3.8%)
Mole Trap is a well-balanced session beer. Crisp hoppy bitterness with a late malty flavour coming through.
Silver Adder – Pale (4.2%)
Powerful hops give a citrus burst followed by a crisp, clean finish. Silver Adder is a refreshing style, very pale malt character with a fresh, crisp and aromatic hop presence.
Suffolk Pride – Amber Ale (4.8%)
A full-bodied, strong bitter. Light in colour with a powerful bouquet of hops, developed fruit and a dry finish. A big, copper-coloured beer with a roasted note supported by spicy aromas.

Clovers Mild – Mild (3.4%)
A refreshing, easy-drinking ruby mild, hopped with Fuggles and Goldings with a light malty taste.
Uncle Percy’s Pale Ale – Golden (4.0%)
Light and well balanced English pale ale, lightly hopped with Challenger, Boadicea and Goldings hops.

Moonshine
Sundowner – Gold (4.1%)
A light coloured beer with rounded hop flavours from New Zealand Nelson Sauvin and American El Dorado hops.
Cellarman’s Stout – Stout (6.0%)
A sweet stout with a rich malt profile. Dark roasted malts and oats are blended together to create a mellow, silky smooth and juicy stout.

Blackberry Porter – Porter (4.5%)
A rich black porter with a fruity blackberry aroma and rich full taste.

Jack Spitty – Golden (4.0%)
Golden easy drinking summer ale. Full of hop flavour with delicate bitterness and light aroma.
Metropolis – Golden (3.9%)
A golden session beer, with enormous depth of flavour and a long floral, spicy finish from U.S. Cascade hops.
National Beers
Blue Monkey – Nottinghamshire
Infinity +1 – IPA (5.6%)
An infinitely satisfying golden ale, brewed with Citra hops.
Mad Squirrel – Hertfordshire
London Porter – Porter (5.0%)
A dark and foreboding ale, London is a brew of mystery and intrigue. Hidden within its shadowy depths are lurking notes of coffee, chocolate and smoke.
Fyne Ales – Scotland
Jarl – Pale Ale (3.8%)
Flagship session blonde ale. A showcase for American hop, Citra, Jarl delivers waves of fruity citrus flavours and a clean finish.
Batemans – Lincolnshire
Triple XB – Bitter (4.8%)
An English tawny beer. Brewed with four malts and three varieties of hops, for a deliciously spicy, fruity and biscuity flavour.
