New artwork inspired by Haverhill monuments by Faraday Benjamin
As part of her Graphic Communications course at West Suffolk College, student Faraday Benjamin was tasked with a ‘Commercial Collaboration’ project to work with Haverhill Arts Centre.
Over the course of 12 weeks, Faraday was tasked with creating a new art exhibition for the arts centre which would consist of 12 pieces that resemble iconic landmarks in Haverhill. Her brief was to create something that would adorn the arts centre’s walls in between exhibitions, and would be inspired by the works of Henri Matisse and Andy Warhol.
The outcome was 12 outstanding designs which are proudly on display in the arts centre and in the studio room. Faraday’s hard work earned her a First Class Honours Degree.
