Shows And Events The Whole Family Can Enjoy This February

Whether you are looking for a February half-term activity, family-friendly shows or a day out at the movies, there is plenty to enjoy and experience at Haverhill Arts Centre.

Free Winter Workshops

Keep warm this winter! Thanks to funding from West Suffolk council, we are hosting a series of FREE craft Saturdays throughout February to make some unique artwork with everyday items. Each workshop will run from 11:00am – 2:30pm. Visitors will also receive a free hot drink and biscuits. No need to book, just drop in!

Saturday 10 February – weaving, with the Fabric Seagull

Weave the middle of paper animals to create a unique hanging decoration.

Saturday 17 February – shrinky dink keyrings, with the Crafty Foxes

Want to make your own keyrings using special shrinking paper? Freestyle your own design or use the Crafty Foxes templates to make funky key chains.

Saturday 24 February – crazy labyrinth puzzles, with the Crafty Foxes

Recycle old CD cases to make your own 3D labyrinth maze puzzle.

Dance Yourself Healthy!

Taking place over February half-term, Dance Yourself Healthy – in collaboration with DanceEast – is great opportunity for children aged between 4-11yrs to take part in energetic and creative dance classes.

The three day event will introduce children to dance and movement, and will also include arts and craft activities, the opportunity to meet new people and an informal sharing to family and friends.

When: Wednesday 21 – Friday 23 February – 10:00am to 3:00pm

How much: £30 for the three days (financial assistance may be available, please ask).

Country Superstars

This truly unique show tells the diverse story of Country Music through incredible impersonations of some of the biggest Country Superstars to have appeared at the Grand Ole Opry.

Country Superstars is hosted by TV Dolly star Sarah Jayne who has been performing as Dolly Parton for 28 years and is Europe’s leading tribute to the Queen of Country. The lead cast has even been endorsed by Dolly Parton “live” on BBC’s The One Show, with the singer stating: “I wish them the best and I appreciate them doing Dolly and Kenny so well for so long.”

Woman Like Me – The Little Mix Show

The best-selling pop concert experience Woman Like Me: The Little Mix  Show returns on its UK Tour. Bringing back-to-back chart-topping hits, incredible voices, and the electrifying energy of Little Mix to life on stage, fans both old and new will be captivated in an unmissable celebration of their phenomenal music career.

Woman Like Me features the ultimate playlist of Little Mix’s greatest hits, including “Black Magic”, “Secret Love Song”, “Power” and, of course, “Woman Like Me”.
