Haverhill Summer Book Swap

Join us this summer as we host two book swap events on Saturday 25 July and Saturday 15 August.

The book swaps, organised by Sameeksha in association with Haverhill Arts Centre, will take place in Haverhill Arts Centre.

There are two ways to take part:

Swap & Return

• Bring a book you are happy to lend
• Choose another book to take home
• Return the borrowed book at the next event (or agreed date)
• Books will be labelled with the owner’s name

Swap & Keep

• Bring a book you no longer want
• Exchange it for another book to keep
• No need to return

Books will be organised into age ranges:

• Baby and toddler
• Ages 4 – 8 picture books
• Chapter books for older children
• Young adults

Rules & Guidelines

• Books should be in good, clean condition
• No damaged or heavily marked books
• Age-appropriate content only
• Respect the swap limits

What else is on?

There will be plenty of other activities across both days, including:

• Readings by professional story-teller Marion Leeper
• Local authors reading extracts from their work
• Art activities for families
