This year Haverhill Town Council is excited to announce a Christmas Carnival taking place on Saturday 30 November.
The day will include:
- A Christmas carnival parade by Mahogany Carnival, featuring music, bright costumes, dancing and appearance by Father Christmas and Mother Christmas in a sleigh, local dance schools, schools and community groups (parade starts approx. 4:15pm).
- A craft fair in Haverhill Arts Centre (9:00am – 5:00pm), featuring a variety of stalls selling Christmas gifts, wooden crafts, hand-made jewellery and more. There will also be a cake sale, a lucky dip and a raffle (prizes drawn at 3:00pm) to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice.
- A maker’s market along Haverhill High Street and Queen Street, with stalls including Happy Knots, henna tattoos, Moody Cow Crafts and more.
- Fairground rides on the Market Square
- Walking Nativity parade down the High Street.
- Christmas lights switch-on on the Market Square at approximately 5:15pm, featuring a special guest
- Christmas fireworks display at approximately 5:30pm on the Rec.
